Your value comes before your achievements
The Bible says every human being is made in the image of God. That gives a person dignity before they succeed, earn, perform or prove anything. Illness, age, unemployment, regret and the opinions of others cannot erase that value.
God's broad purpose is clear: to know Him, love Him and learn to love other people. Individual callings grow within that purpose. Two people may have very different work and circumstances while both live faithfully before God.

Purpose can include ordinary things
A purposeful Christian life is not restricted to church work. Honesty at work, care for family, patience with strangers, resisting wrongdoing, creating what is good and helping someone who cannot repay you can all express love for God and neighbour.
Purpose is therefore not necessarily hidden behind one dramatic decision. It can begin with the person in front of you and the responsibility already in your hands.
Direction rather than a secret map
Christian faith does not promise that every choice will become obvious. It gives a direction: towards God, truth, love and obedience. As that direction becomes clearer, many smaller decisions find their proper place.
